Lunch at Spring Shabu-Shabu

I had so much fun last weekend checking out Spring Shabu-Shabu, a Japanese-style hot pot restaurant in Brighton!

How it works is that you’re seated a table, which has built-in bowls for hot soup and your own meter to adjust the temperature. You select which broth you’d like and then which meat or seafood options to add to your soup. I went with the vegetarian broth, and my friend with the pork bone broth. For our meat and seafood we went with prime beef and clams.

Once we put in our broth order, we went to check out the buffet to gather our side items to add to our broth. Spring Shabu-Shabu has a ton of selections — lots of vegetables, mushrooms, noodles, dumplings, crab, sauces, and so much more. They even have a soft serve ice cream machine with vanilla and green tea ice cream.

Once we gathered all of our sides, we returned to our table and turned up the heat on the broth and let it come to a boil before adding all of our ingredients to make a delicious lunch!

Check out Spring Shabu-Shabu’s full menu here. They’re located at 304 Western Ave in Brighton.
